Welcome to the CardioRheumatology Course.

The CardioRheumatology Course is postponed. A new date will follow.

As everyone is aware, it has an enormous impact on patient’s health and health care, but also on social activities, education and congress meetings. The ESC has changed the 2020 live congress in Amsterdam to an online event, and we therefore decided to postpone the CardioRheumatology course.

Since it is currently unknown how the situation will change in the near future, and we still hope to hold our course during a live meeting, we currently explore the possibilities.

The program is based on the ESC guidelines and/or consensus documents from ESC and its constituent bodies; besides cases along the presentation the last part of the program will be focused on cases from clinical practice, in which the current guidelines will be discussed and group discussions are stimulated through an online voting system.

At the end of the CardioRheumatology Course delegates will be...

  • Better able to discuss the clinical practice guidelines, consensus and position papers relevant
to the topic of CardioRheumatology
  • Able to compare the role of different multimodality cardiovascular imaging modalities in the management of patients with autoimmune diseases
  • Able to summarize approaches to cardiovascular prognostication in autoimmune diseases

We look forward to welcoming you to the CardioRheumatology Course..
